After more than a decade traveling the world buying & selling granite and marble

for large importers, Glenn Carpenter decided to create something of his own.  His wife, Lee, soon found herself along for the ride.

A true small business beginning.  One truck and and a single wall showroom.

Fast forward to today.  Essence of Stone continues to develop and maintain key relationships with the most reputable stone suppliers in the industry. Glenn and Lee

hand select only the finest products for the newly expanded showroom and fabrication facility located in Parkerford, PA.  The focus is on Quality not Quantity.
